A whole body approach to a healthy pelvis & pelvic floor – awareness, alignment, education & exercise.
Did you know that how you breathe affects your pelvic floor?
Or that how you reach for things on the top shelf affects everything in your pelvis?
Join us for an afternoon of learning, alignment & movement to make your everyday (parenting, running, office work or anything in between) better for your pelvis.
This is a beginner workshop with no previous knowledge required run by Tanya Gribble at the Pilates Workshop in St Albans.
What will we be doing?
» We will be learning about how the rest of our body affects our pelvis & pelvic floor
» We will be strengthening and lengthening key muscles that affect our pelvic floor
» We will become aware of how the way we move affects our pelvis & pelvic floor
» We will learn how to adapt our daily habits for the benefit of our pelvic floor
» We will NOT be doing any kegels (pelvic floor squeezes)… and you will learn why
» We will work hard but safely and within your boundaries
Who is it for?
» It’s for everyone; young & old, prenatal, pregnant & postnatal
» It’s for those with a compromised pelvis & pelvic floor (incl prolapse, stress and urgency incontinence)
» It’s for those with a perfect pelvis who want to know how to keep it that way
