Back care for everyone; those in pain & those who want to avoid it
Join us for an afternoon of learning, alignment & movement to make your everyday (parenting, running, office work or anything in between) better for your back.
This workshop will teach you how to move better so your back can work better and become stronger.
We will cover everyday movements, lifting, standing, sitting & breathing (yes how you breathe affects your back!)
This is a beginner workshop with no previous knowledge required.
What exactly will we be doing?
» We will be doing exercises to strengthen and lengthen key muscles that enable our back to move well
» We will become aware of how our posture is affecting our back and how we can improve it
» We will learn how to adapt our daily habits of standing, sitting, reaching and breathing for the benefit of our back
» We will learn simple exercises that we can do at home
Who is it for?
» It’s for everyone; young & old, men & women, new mums and mums-to-be, office and manual workers… everyone!
» It’s for those with current, chronic and recurrent backpain
» It’s for those without back pain who want to keep it that way

» Catholic Church Hall, off Providence Way, Baldock.
» Limited to 8 participants to ensure individual attention
» £30 earlybird before 19th October, £40 thereafter
